so, 5 months AFTER i put the motorcycle in my storage room, do I get into trouble for the bike being in the storage room. (not allowed to store motor vehicles in residence)

time to pull out the loop hole. take off the front wheel and make it a big pile of ‘parts’. rules say nothing about ‘parts”

They also took my 2 tiny propane bottles that I have for my mini BBQ.
why?
“they represent as great a fire hazard as a lit candle”

Fuck nuggets, they are 1lb metal containers holding a gas in a dark, unlit room. “as big a fire hazard as a lit candle” my shiny metal ass.

Who did check your storage room, and why did you let them in?

My question is: why did it take so long for them to notice? And also, where is the fact that you can’t keep a vehicle in the house written?

Strap those propane canisters to your bike and do a meaty burnout down their hallway.

fire check done by res managment. I have no choice, as the housing unit is rented from the university

*cough* it is written in the rules.

there were previous fire checks. but this is the first time they have said anything (my thinks one of the ppl doing the checks had her head up her ass or something and was on a power trip)

Wait, they ban lit candles? So no sexy time by candlelight? What is this world coming to?
What if you just had a huge collection of unlit candles that was stored next to your collection of matches? Totally within the rules, right?

Will they come back to check on “results”? Or did they just warn you?

My parents don’t allow me to put my mountain bike in the house, but they decided to move the bike in the crowded garage. In the process, they bent the derailleur hanger. God damn it, that’s the exact reason I put it in the house.

Was it mom? Of course, It’s always mom. She broke the power button on my last receiver in a rage of uncertain rationality.

Shhhh, that’s what’s keeping my Trans Am legal.

Landlord said so long as there’s no motor or gas in it, he’ll let it slide.

Once I do I’ll have to keep it elsewhere since we’re only allowed to have one motor vehicle per adult resident. But we probably won’t be living there by the time that happens.

dude,. we arent allowed a fucking CHRISTMAS TREE because its a ‘fire hazard’

what do you think?

for the most part, the RA’s (res assistants/ part of managment) realized just how strict and nazi-fied some of these rules are, and cut us a lot of slack. but occasionally you will run into the ones that are on a total power trip.

Not in this case, it is extremely difficult to get on it in that closet. I could barely manage.

Do you get a heads up when they do a check? If so, shuffle out the bike ahead of time and move it back after

i did get a biut of a heads uip, but busy studying for a quiz and a exam i have.

its not that easy to pull the bike in and out. it took 20 minutes with 3 dude just to get it in. then another 30 min to put all of the shit back inside.

I had a full set of wheels and tires as a coffee table for about 6 months so that sounds cool to me.
